He received a diploma in Computer Enginnering and Informatics from the Department of Computer Engineering and Informatics (CEID) , University of Patras, Greece in 1993.

Received his PhD from (CEID) in 2000 under the supervision of Dimitris Lioupis.

He was a researher in Computer Technology Institute (CTI).
